We went to Port Townsend!

So...traveling with two semi-sick kids is not super fun.  I don't really think Port Townsend qualifies as traveling as it is less than an hour from home.  But, staying in a hotel is always interesting these   days.  The fun part was T had her own little space at the place we stayed and it was a beautiful  weekend with lots of yummie food and movies and walks and some sun.  We went for Shane's birthday.  Tayler wears the below hat all day, every day.  I wanted so badly to have her take it off for the pictures.  But, this is life right now.  And, she such an easy, well behaved, loves her brothers, considerate teenager...the hat gets to stay!

Teaching...

In science class, a few of my students have been working on this video about the affects of Ocean Acidification on the Suquamish community.  The kids did all of the learning/filming/editing.  I think it turned out really well.  It is only three minutes so check it out:
